The first Stage of the process of creatng mine and Rosie's stop-motion animation was to think of our storyline. Our story had to have a message or theme to it so that the audience could have a clear understanding. So, as students we had to think what message could we put out which other students and younger students would understand, we then came up with the idea to center our animation on alcohol abuse.

Alcohol abuse is something which is all to familiar in our society and consuming alcohol is what students are best known for. In 2012, 24.6% of individuals aged 18 or over admitted that they had participated in binge drinking in the last month, whilst at the same time 17 million adults aged 18 and over had an alcohol use disorder (National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, 2014). However alcohol abuse can have dramatic consequences on an individuals life and body and we had to put this message in to an animation. We wanted to show the life of an individual who was dependent on alcohol and also the transformation made when help is given.REFERENCES
